Let me tell you about some of the hottest new technology gadgets out there right now. First which seems promising is the Automatic Make up camera by Casio, the Smart Pen, and Computer Cool School by Fisher Price, The Swanky Theater, and the Glowing Gloves. I will tell you about the product, the great features, and if available when it comes out and how much.

So first we have the automatic Make up Camera, the Exilim Zoom Z300, which is 10.1 Megapixels and the Z250 which is 9.1 megapixels made by Casio. It has a built in Photoshop, for the makeup savvy women. The makeup setting goes from 0 through 12, and you can add as little or as much make up as you need. You will be able to cover wrinkles, frown lines, even out your skin tone. It was released, Aug 29 at a price of $249.84.

Next we have, the Smart Pen. If you are like me and you write a lot and then forget what you wrote down and cannot find the paper, this is the pen for you! It writes with ink, and just like a regular pen. It records audio and links it to what your writing, and plays audio back when tapped on paper. You can also put the notes onto your laptop or desktop computer, you can even leave your laptop at home and if you have the special dot paper (about $5 for a whole notebook) you can easily transfer all your notes onto the paper from your pen. The pen costs $149 for 1GB and $199 for 2GB.

One of the neatest hot new technology gadget, is the Computer Cool School, by fisher price. It’s a keyboard that you hook up to your own computer and it teaches reading, writing, science, art and music. It is password protected so your little one doesn’t print 500 copies of anything. It always keeps them from getting to the main hard drive on the computer as well as the internet. It came out in July and it costs $59.99.

Another hot new technology gadget is, The Swanky Theater. It’s like a drive in wherever you place it. You can get a nine, ten or twelve foot inflatable screen, and it’s so compact it folds down to duffel bag size! It is great for party throwers who want to be the talk of the town. At $ 1,499 it comes with the screen, projector, DVD player, sound mixer, and more. If you want just the screen its $399. But by far worth the price!

The last of the hot new technology gadgets is, The glowing glove. Innovative technology has led to having a flashlight at your fingertip, literally. It’s a fiber optic glove made by Tilen Sepic of Slovenia. It can produce diffused and spot lighting. And if the power goes out it will most defiantly come in handy! Doesn’t state how much or when it will be out.

The TaylorMade R9 TP Irons has serious performance technology in a classic player’s shape and size. The High MOI (Moment of Inertia) and Inverted Cone clubface technology in every iron mean superior distance while the VCC (Velocity-Control Chamber) offer increased consistency, ball speed and power.

The vibration-controlling cavity badge provides a satisfying feel and sound and the Tour-beveled sole reduces resistance to react “thinner” with the turf. The grooves conform to new USGA and R&A rules and the KBS Tour Series steel shafts are engineered to promote increased stability and energy transfer.

VCC (Velocity-Control Chamber)

Called the Velocity-Control Chamber, it makes it possible for an immense area of the ultra-thin (2.0 mm) clubface to exist unsupported.

Inverted Cone Technology

As the VCC makes it easier to launch the ball with the long- and middle-irons, TaylorMade engineers have gone to great lengths to ensure that the R9 irons deliver controlled power by incorporating Inverted Cone Technology on the inner side of the clubface. In addition to promoting higher ball speed on off-center hits, the Inverted Cone has been carefully calibrated to eliminate “hot spots” so that ball speed is consistent across the clubface, resulting in keen and consistent distance control in all of the R9 irons.

TaylorMade R9 TP Iron Set

As part of TaylorMade’s revered Tour Preferred® product line, R9 TP irons are engineered to, above all, deliver an exceptional degree of distance control and consistency, which is critical to any player who competes at a high level or wants to.

The R9 TP iron’s classic shape and size are characterized by a compact head featuring a semi-straight leading edge, semi-square toe, thin topline and thin, cambered, beveled, multi-functional sole.

New Technology

In terms of technology, the R9 TP irons offer plenty. The 2- through 5-iron incorporate TaylorMade’s Velocity Control Chamber (VCC), a fully enclosed compartment positioned behind the clubface that allows a large area of the 2.0 mm face to exist unsupported, increasing COR to promote more distance.

The open space within the VCC is fully filled with light yet dense foam that manages vibration energy to deliver excellent feel and sound at impact. The VCC allows the re-distribution of mass within the clubhead to give the R9 TP long-irons an exceptionally low CG and high MOI, which combines with the fast clubface to make them easier to launch high and long.

Progressive face thickness is incorporated throughout the set starting at 2.0 mm in the 2- through 5-iron, 2.3 mm in the 6- and 7-iron, and 2.5 mm in the 8-iron through pitching wedge. The result is progressively higher COR where you need it in the middle-irons and long-irons, and fantastic feel in the short-irons

Compact Shape

R9 TP heads are similar to the compact shape of the Tour Preferred® irons (which are the most popular and successful irons on the PGA Tour today), yet the R9 TPs offer a larger hittable face area due in part to differences in the way the head blends into the hosel.

The top-line is beveled along the back edge to give it a thin and elegant appearance, and the sole is beveled to reduce resistance so it can perform “thinner” when it meets the turf. Each R9 TP head is perimeter-weighted and equipped with a vibration-controlling cavity badge.

The 6-iron through pitching wedge feature an undercut cavity that’s visible because the cavity badge is smaller than that used in the R9 irons. The undercut cavity allows us to push more weight to the perimeter of the head in order to increase MOI and distance-control

New and Conforming Grooves for 2010

The R9 TP irons incorporate a new groove design that conforms to the USGA and R&A ruling that goes into affect in 2010 for high-level competition.

Tour-Proven KBS Steel Shafts

The R9 TP irons come equipped with KBS Tour Series steel shafts, which is currently the fastest growing steel shaft brand on the PGA Tour. Several of TaylorMade’s Tour Staff pros are in the same KBS shaft that’s in the R9 TP including Kenny Perry, Dustin Johnson and Rory Sabbatini who have each used them to win once.
